    when did the last attack of disease appear, and
    when did it entirely disappear?

PILOT'S LICENCE.

By virtue of the power in me vested, you
are hereby authorized and directed to act as
Pilot for the Port of
and you are
enjoined to use your best skill and knowledge
in all duties appertaining to that office, strictly
conforming to the regulations of the Harbour
aforesaid, and obeying such orders and in-
structions as you may from time to time re-
ceive from me.

SCHEDULE B.β€”DECLARATION.

solemnly declare that I have delivered all
Public Despatches, Letters, Parcels, News-
papers, and all Post Office Mails and Letters,
both in parcels and loose, which were on board
my vessel.

RATES OF PILOTAGE.

Three shillings per foot in any harbour.
One shilling per foot in any outer road-
stead.

Provincial Secretary's Office,
Nelson, April 11th, 1855.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before the 25th instant, from parties desi-
rous of contracting for the following works:β€”

To supply 5,970 feet of SAWN TIMBER; either
Heart of Totara, Red Pine, or Black Birch, part
to be delivered at Richmond, and part at Stoke.

To erect a BRIDGE of SAWN TIMBER, with brick
abutments, at Dartnall's corner, Richmond.

To erect a BRIDGE of Sawn Timber near Ellis's,
Stoke.

To CART about 70 cubic yards of GRAVEL from
the Maitai River on to the Waimea Road, near
Nelson.

Specifications of these works and plans of the
Bridges, may be seen on application at the Office of
the Commissioner of Public Works.
