NEW ZEALAND

GOVERNMENT GAZETTE

(PROVINCE OF NELSON.)

PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY.

All Public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereunto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those Persons to whom they may relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

WE, MATHEW RICHMOND and JOHN POYNTER, Commissioners duly appointed to hear and decide claims to land by persons claiming title thereto, from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, Do hereby decide that the persons whose names are hereunder written, and whose claims have been referred to us by his Honor the Superintendent, are duly entitled to the Crown Grants for land, or to the Government Scrip, the particulars whereof are set opposite their respective names.

Joseph Broadbent, Joshua Stott, Fanny Farrar. 387 387 . Entitled to Government Scrip to the amount of three hundred pounds (£300), being £150 in exchange for rural section No. 78, Wakefield Downs, and £150, compensation on one allotment.
John Dyson Hutchinson, John Nicholson. 388 388 Waimea West Entitled to a Crown Grant for fifty acres of land, being accommodation section numbered 6 on the plan of the district of Waimea West.
And is further entitled to Government Scrip to the amount of three hundred pounds (£300).
Robert Speir, Charles Groves, John Maclaurin. 423 423 Wairau West Entitled to a Crown Grant for one hundred and fifty acres of land, being rural section numbered 26 on the plan of the district of Wairau West.
And are further entitled to Government Scrip
