HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it
to be notified, that the undermentioned
portions of the Waste Lands of the
Crown, within the Province of Nelson, as
hereinafter described, have been RESERVED
for various purposes of public utility, viz.:—
-
A block of land situate in the Wairau
Valley, being part of Sections No.
39 and 41, bounded on the north
and east by public roads; on the
south by land granted to E. D.
Sweet, Esq.; and on the west by
Section No. 43; containing about
220 acres. -
A block of land situate in the Omaka
district, bounded on the north by
Sections Nos. 150, 151, and 31; on
the east by Section No. 149; on the
south by waste lands of the Crown;
and on the west by Section No. 30;
containing about 315 acres. -
A block of land situate in the Omaka
district, being Rural Section No.
135, bounded on the north by Sec-
tion No. 134; on the east by a
public road and by the Omaka river;
on the south by Section No. 136;
and on the west by a public road;
containing about 150 acres. -
A block of land situate in the Omaka
district, bounded on the north by a
public road; on the east by the
Taylor Valley river; on the south
by a public road; and on the west
by Section No. 33; containing about
270 acres. -
A block of land situate in the Wairau
West district, being Rural Section
