HIS Excellency the Officer administering the Government has been pleased to make the following Appointments in the Customs Department, at this Port:β€”

Mr. DAVID JOHNSTON,
to be Landing Waiter, vice Mr. Bernard Gapper, resigned. The appointment to date from the 1st June, 1854.

Mr. JOHN PERCY,
to be Locker. The appointment to date from the 1st March, 1854.

Mr. GEORGE CHARLES LIMMING,
to be Tidewaiter. The appointment to date from the 1st March, 1854.

Mr. HENRY BLOUNT FARQUHAR,
to be Tidewaiter. The appointment to date from the 1st April, 1854.

EDWARD HUGH ENES BLACKMORE,
Collector.

ERRATUM.

In the date at the foot of the Return of Customs Receipts, page 73, for "Custom House, Auckland," read "Custom House, Nelson."
