All Public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereunto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those Persons to whom they may relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

WE, MATHEW RICHMOND and JOHN POYNTER, Commissioners duly appointed to hear and decide Claims to Land by Persons claiming Title thereto from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, Do hereby decide that the Persons whose names are hereunder written, and whose claims have been referred to us by his Honour the Superintendent, are duly entitled to the Crown Grants for Land, or to the Government Scrip, the particulars whereof are set opposite their respective names.

William Drummond 277 277 Suburban South Waitohi Town Entitled to Crown Grants for twenty-five acres of land, being part of accommodation section numbered 62 on the plan of the district of Suburban South, and for one quarter acre, being section numbered 396 on the plan of Waitohi town; and that the said William Drummond was entitled to the legal estate therein from and after the 2nd day of July last past.
William Drummond 278 278 Suburban South Entitled to a Crown Grant for twenty-five acres of land, being part of accommodation section numbered 62 on the plan of the district of Suburban South.
And is further entitled to Government Scrip to the amount of three hundred pounds (£300), being £150 in exchange for rural section No. 136, Wakefield Downs, and £150, compensation on one allotment; and that the said William Drummond was entitled to the legal estate therein from and after the second day of July last past.
