IN accordance with Section 10 of “The Roads Act 1872 Amendment Act, 1875,” his Honor the Deputy Superintendent directs it to be notified that the undermentioned gentlemen have been elected members of the Road Boards of the Counties of Wairau, Spring Creek, and Omaka respectively :-

County of Wairau :

Wairau Valley District—William Adams, Esq.

Waihopai District—Messrs. Cyrus Goulter, and George Hoome Binning Monro.

Fairhall District—Messrs. James Edmund Hodson and William Avery.

County of Spring Creek :

Spring Creek District—Messrs. George Dodson, Joseph Henry Redwood, James Ford Hathaway, Frederick Busch, Isaac Gifford, and Nathaniel Thomas Prichard.

County of Omaka :

Renwick District—Messrs. Adam Jackson, Thomas O’Sullivan, and John Shaw.

Opawa District—Messrs. Lewis Keele Horne, George Houldsworth, and John Rose.

I, JAMES EDMUND HODSON, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby appoint the Stock Yard on a part of Section 162, District of Omaka, leased by Mr John Shaw to the Superintendent of Marlborough, and having a frontage of 51 feet to Uxbridge-street, in the Township of Renwick, to be a Public Pound; and I do hereby further appoint the said Mr JOHN SHAW to be the Keeper thereof.

Given under my hand, at Blenheim, this 12th day of November, 1875.
