PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by “The Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1866,” it is provided that a Deputy Superintendent may be appointed by proclamation, to be published in the Government Gazette of the Province:
Now therefore, I, ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby appoint JAMES EDMUND HODSON, Esq., M.P.C., to be Deputy Superintendent of the said Province.

THE following application for a Depasturing Licence has this day been received by me, in accordance with “The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867”:
George Williams and Henry Davis Williams.—District of North Bank of Wairau: Boundaries—South, by the North Bank Run; West, by the Mount Patriarch Run; East, by the summit of a range of hills as far back as will include 5,900 acres; North, by a right line thence to Mount Patriarch Run. Estimated extent: 5,900 acres. Deposit paid: £10.
