PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Arthur Penrose Seymour, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand.

In pursuance of the power vested in me, I, Arthur Penrose Seymour, the Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby Summon the Provincial Council of the said Province to meet in the Council Chamber, Blenheim, at Three o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the Twenty-ninth day of May instant, and do proclaim that the Twenty-sixth Session of the said Council shall commence at the said time and place accordingly.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Marlborough, at Blenheim, this Seventh day of May, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Arthur Penrose Seymour, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS, by Clause III. of “The Goldfields Act, 1866,” it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor from time to time by proclamation to constitute and appoint any portion of the Colony to be a Gold Field under the provisions of the said Act, and the limits of such Gold Field from time to time to alter as occasion may require: And whereas the Governor in Council, under his hand and the Public Seal of the Colony, did, on the Thirtieth day of March, 1874, delegate the said recited power unto me, Arthur Penrose Seymour, Esquire, as Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, to have, hold, and exercise within the said Province: And whereas, it is expedient to alter the limits of “The Wairau Gold Field” in the said Province:
