PROCLAMATION.

By his Honor ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by authority of the same intituled “The Protection of Animals Act, 1873,” it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent from time to time, by proclamation published in the Gazette, to declare that all or any of the provisions of this Act relating to Native Game shall not be in force in such parts of the said Province as he shall in such proclamation define :

Now, therefore, I, ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR, Superintendent of the above Province, do hereby proclaim and declare that all the provisions of the said Act relating to Native Game shall not be in force in the Province of Marlborough from the First day of April now next ensuing, until revoked by proclamation in the Gazette in the manner prescribed by the said Act.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Marlborough, this Twenty-fifth day of March, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
