WHEREAS a Depasturing License, dated 12th September, 1862, was issued in the name of Courtney W. A. T. Kenny, for the Kenysisle Run, Pelorus Sound, in the Province of Marlborough, and was, so far as it relates to a certain portion of the said run, containing about 3,200 acres, transferred to Duncan Parker;
and whereas the rent due upon such portion of the said run has been in arrear from the 1st January, 1871:

Now, therefore, I, James Balfour Wemyss Esquire, the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the said Province, do hereby declare that the said License, so far as it relates to the aforesaid portion of the said Run, is forfeited.

Blenheim, August 29th, 1871.

IT is hereby notified that immediately after the sale of Crown Lands, appointed to take place on Tuesday, the Third day of October next, the following pieces of Land, included in a block of land in the district of Pelorus Valley, conveyed by Mr. Robert Blaymires to the Superintendent of Marlborough, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the upset prices set opposite the same respectively.

Ten per cent. of the purchase money to be paid at the sale, and the remainder within one month from the day of sale. In the event of this condition not being complied with by any purchaser, the money paid by him will be absolutely forfeited, and his purchase null and void.

IT is hereby notified that His Honor the Superintendent has appointed the Stockyard of Mr. ALBEN CLOSE, Kaikoura, a Public Pound, under the provisions of "The Impounding Ordinance, 1847," and the said Mr. Alben Close to be keeper thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that the RENTS due under the undermentioned Leases for the Year ending 31st January, 1872, having been in arrear for six months, are, by Clause 86 of "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867," DOUBLED, and that any of the said Leases under which such increased Rent may be unpaid three months after the
