Superintendent's Office,
Blenheim, February 9, 1871.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the General Government having refused to grant to His Honor the Superintendent the reserve proposed to be made in the bed of the Branch river, the notice bearing date 8th July, 1870, is null and void, and the public have no right or authority to use the said block of land.
