PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Arthur Penrose Seymour, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand, &c. &c. &c.

In pursuance of the power vested in me,
I, Arthur Penrose Seymour, the Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby summon the Provincial Council of the said province to meet in the Council Chamber, Blenheim, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, on Wednesday, the twenty-second day of February instant, and do proclaim that the Twenty-second Session of the said Council shall commence at the said time and place accordingly.

Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Marlborough, at Blenheim, this eighth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

It is hereby notified for general information that in pursuance of the provisions of "The Wairau Valley Road Act, 1870," a Public Road has been taken and laid out through the two blocks of land mentioned in schedule to said Act, originally granted to George Duppa, from the River Wye to the junction of the Wairau and Branch rivers, and thence along the right bank of the Wairau River to a point opposite the Government Accommodation House.
