NOTICE.

IMPOUNDED this 11th day of January, 1871, in the public Pound at Picton—
A strawberry-colored white-faced working BULL, from Mahakipawa, branded HG on near rump, SF off side, and U off rump, with off horn broken.

If not claimed and all demands satisfied will be sold by public auction, on MONDAY, the 6th day of February next, at 12 o’clock noon.

I, THE undersigned HARRY PITT, of Blenheim, in the Province of Marlborough and the Colony of New Zealand, Solicitor, hereby make application to register "THE SUTHERLAND GOLD MINING COMPANY REGISTERED" under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Sutherland Gold Mining Company Registered."

  2. The place of operation is situate in the District of Wairau North, in the Province of Marlborough, in New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital is £4000, in 4,000 shares of £1 each.

  4. The number of paid up shares given to original proprietors is 2,000.

  5. The amount already paid up is £789.

  6. The name of the Manager is Harry Pitt.

  7. The office of the Company is in High street, Blenheim.

  8. The names in full and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each are as follows:—
