NOTICE.

THE Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Province of Marlborough, do hereby give notice that at noon on Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of May next, the following allotments of Suburban Land and Rural Land will be put up to Auction and offered for sale by Public Competition at the Survey Office, Blenheim, in the Province of Marlborough, at the upset prices mentioned below, in accordance with the provisions of “The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867.”

Ten per cent. of the purchase money must be deposited at the sale and the remainder within one month or the deposit will be forfeited.

NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of His Honour the SUPERINTENDENT to introduce into the Provincial Council a Bill to authorize the compulsory taking of land under “The Provincial Compulsory Land Taking Act, 1866,” for the purpose of making a road through the District of Wairau West from the Opawa Bridge, Blenheim, to the Wairau Ferry; and it is also hereby notified that Plans showing the land proposed to be taken, coloured pink, and Books of Reference, have been deposited with the Speaker of the Provincial Council, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, and Mr Hathaway at the Wairau Ferry.
