His Honour the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the following gentlemen, viz. —

John Kissling,
William Njsworthy,
and
Samuel Johnson,
have been elected to form the Local Committee for the District of Blenheim for the year 1870, under “The Marlborough Education Act, 1865.”

[The following notice is reprinted in consequence of the date of election being erroneously stated in the last Gazette.]

was duly elected Speaker of the Provincial Council, on Thursday, the 24th day of March, 1870.

Boundaries — North, by sections 15 and 14 of Block I, Waitohi suburban; West by a line in transit with the western boundary of said section 15, 4300 links thence on the South by a line at right angles with the last-named line, 2300 links thence on the East by a right line, 3950 links to the south-eastern corner of said section 4, of Block I.
Estimated extent — 100 acres.
Deposit paid — £2.
