PURSUANT to Clause X. of "The New Provinces Act, 1858," I, STEPHEN LUNN MULLER, Principal Returning Officer for the Province of Marlborough, do hereby appoint that a MEETING of the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL for the said Province shall take place on TUESDAY, the 24th day of March, at the hour of eleven o'clock in the Forenoon, in the Council Chamber, at Blenheim.

IT is notified for general information that MR. WILLIAM PERRY has been elected a Member of the Board of Works for the Town of Havelock, in lieu of Mr. Thomas Brown, resigned.
