WHEREAS the amounts DUE under
a Depasturing Licence, dated the
Twenty-seventh day of September, one
thousand eighthundred and sixty-one, made
out in the name of HENRY D. WILLIAMS,
and by him transferred to CHARLES TUCKER
KEENE and GEORGE ROOK KENNE jointly,
for a Run in the District of Kaikoura,
containing 19,519 acres more or less, and
a Depasturing Licence dated the sixteenth
day of June, one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-five, made out in the joint names
of GEORGE ROBERT TURNER and CHARLES
HENRY TURNER, and so far as it relates to
that portion of the Ravenscliff Run, which
lies to the South-west of a line drawn across
the said Run, over the summit of a hill
called "Jackson’s Head," and containing
830 acres, more or less, transferred by
them to WILLIAM WOODGATE, have been
in arrear since the first day of January
last past; Now, therefore, I, JAMES EDWARD
FOUNTAIN WEMYSS, the Commissioner of Crown
Lands for the said Province of Marlborough,
do hereby declare the first-mentioned
Licence and the last-mentioned Licence in
so far as it relates to the transferred por-
tion of a Ravenscliff Run, to be FOR-
FEITED;

Dated at the Crown Lands Office,
Blenheim, this ninth day of
December, one thousand eight
hundred and sixty-nine.
