NOTICE is hereby given that for the future all persons wishing to make arrangements for the ASSISTED PASSAGES of their friends from Great Britain, must, on application, deposit with the Secretary one half of the passage money chargeable for each Immigrant, and execute a bond payable within two years from the arrival of the Immigrant in the Province for the other moiety.

IT IS NOTIFIED for general information that on and after the 1st October next, the following Tonnage dues will be charged upon all vessels which shall be moored alongside the Picton wharf, namely:
For every vessel whose register-tonnage shall be less than 100 tons, two pence per ton.
For every vessel whose register-tonnage shall exceed 100 tons, one penny per ton.

DECISION in favor of the following applicants for a Pastoral Lease has this day been given in accordance with "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867."

IN pursuance of the power vested in me by Clause V of "The Public Cemeteries Act, 1868," I WILLIAM HENRY EYES, Esquire, the Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby appoint
ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR, Esquire,
to be a Trustee under the said Act for District 1, in the place of GEORGE LILLY MELLISH, Esquire, resigned.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the said Province, this fourteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
