Charlotte Sound, in the Province of
Marlborough, the boundary of which said
parcel of land commences at a point marked
A in the plan annexed to the memorial of
the judgement in this action, and runs on
the following bearings with the magnetic
meridian, 0° for 9500 links; 50½° for
7200 links; 134° for 1500 links; 45½°
for 3000 links; 314° for 2400 links; thence
the boundary is formed of an arm of Queen
Charlotte Sound running in a south-westerly
direction to a white pine tree standing alone
at the mouth of a blind creek; thence 7400
links in a line running about north and
south, so as to include the buildings and
tramway occupied by Alexander Duncan,
to a point in the southern boundary of a
piece of land of which this is a portion, late
the joint property of James M’Beth and
Augustus Adolphus Alexander Hood;
then easterly 90° for 3000 links to the
starting point, save and except 100 links
from high-water-mark, and also excepting
any necessary roads required for public
purposes. And also all the estate, right,
title, and interest of the said Godwin
George Hood of, in, and to all that parcel
of land situated at Otanarua Bay, in
the District of Queen Charlotte Sound
aforesaid, containing by admeasurement
136 acres, be the same more or less, being
sections numbered respectively 29, 30, and
31 on the plan of the said district, bounded
on the northward by high-water-mark of
Otanarua Bay; on the eastward by section
numbered 32 on the plan of the said district 4220 links; on the southward partly
by a public road 4790 links and partly by
section numbered 28 on the said plan, 950
links; and on the westward by section
numbered 28 on the said plan, 2770 links,
and 1275 links. And also all the estate,
right, title, and interest of the said Godwin
George Hood of, in, and to all that
parcel of land situated at Otanarua Bay
aforesaid, containing 99 acres and 38
perches more or less, being sections numbered
36 and 37 respectively on the plan of the
said district of Queen Charlotte Sound,
bound on the northward by high-water-
mark of Otanarua Bay aforesaid; on the
north-eastward by section numbered 38 on
the plan of the said district 1250 links and
1575 links; on the eastward partly by section
numbered 38 aforesaid 850 links, and
partly by a public road 1640 links; on the
southward by the said public road 2575
links; and on the west by section
numbered 35, 2825 links. And also all the
estate, right, title, and interest of the said
Godwin George Hood of, in, and to all
that parcel of land situated at Wharehunga
Bay in the said district of Queen Charlotte
Sound containing by admeasurement 165
acres more or less, being sections numbered
25 and 26 on the plan of the said district,
bounded on the northward partly by crown
land 5200 links, and partly by high-
water-mark of Wharehunga Bay aforesaid;
on the eastward by Crown Land 4000
links; on the southward partly by high-
water-mark of Wharehunga Bay and partly
by Crown Land 5475 links; and on the
westward partly by public roads 750
links and 1000 links, and partly by high-
water-mark of Wharehunga Bay aforesaid.
And also all the estate, right, title, and
interest of the said Godwin George Hood
of, in, and to all that parcel of land situated
at Clova Bay, in the district of Pelorus, in
the Province of Marlborough, containing 45
acres more or less, being section numbered 2
on the plan of the said district, bounded
on the north-eastward by a public road one
chain wide 1500 links, and on the south-east
ward 3000 links, south-westward 1500
links, and north-westward 309 links by
Crown Land.
And I further GIVE NOTICE that the
estate and interest of the said Godwin
George Hood in the hereinbefore men-
tioned lands consists of the Equity of Re-
demption of the same, subject to a mortgage
thereon for the amount therein specified,
and the interest thereon.
And I further GIVE NOTICE that at
the time and place hereinbefore mentioned,
I shall also cause to be sold by public auc-
tion by the said Henry Dyson, unless
the aforesaid debt or sum and other charges
as aforesaid be sooner paid, all the estate,
right, title and interest of the said Godwin
George Hood of, in, and to all that parcel
of land containing by admeasurement 20
perches, be the same more or less, situated
at Picton, in the Province of Marlborough
being the northern moiety of section num-
bered 205 on the plan of the town of Picton
bounded towards the north 200 links by
section numbered 206 on the said plan;
towards the east 65½ links by Wellington-
street; towards the south 200 links by the
other moiety of section numbered 205 on
the said plan; and towards the west 65½ links
by section numbered 210 on the said plan.
And I further GIVE NOTICE that the
estate and interest of the said Godwin
George Hood in the said last mentioned
parcel of land is an estate in fee simple,
free from incumbrances.
And I further GIVE NOTICE that the
above mentioned lands and all the estate,
right, title, and interest of the said Godwin
George Hood of, in, and to the same have
been taken in execution by me at the suit
of the said Arthur Beauchamp, James
M’Beth, and William Welford.
