NOTICE is hereby given that the LEASE for Fourteen Years of the GOVERNMENT RESERVE of about 470 acres, lying between Picton Harbour and Waikawa, will be submitted to Public Competition, at the Land Office, Blenheim, at Noon, on WEDNESDAY, the 26th May proximo, at the Upset Rental of £20 per annum.

TENDERS for certain REPAIRS on the ROAD between Mr JAMES DAVIS’ house, Kaikana, and the HERINGA BRIDGE, will be received until noon on WEDNESDAY, the 28th April instant, at this Office, where Specifications can be seen.
The tenders must state the amount in money for which the work will be performed, but the contractor will be required to take land in payment of the amount of his contract, under Clause 56 of “The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867.”
