THE following Applications for Pastoral Leases have been received by me, in accordance with "The Marlborough Waste Lands Act, 1867":—

District of Pelorus Sound.

Boundaries—North-West by Section 18, unsurveyed Crown Land, and Section 89; North-East by a public road, and high-water mark Kaiuma Bay; and South by the Pelorus Sound.

Estimated extent—695 acres.

Deposit paid—£2.

The Honorable Frances
Dorothy Dillon ......

District of Waihopai.

Boundaries—Towards the North and North-East by a tributary of the Omaka, which is the boundary of the Blarich Run; East and South by the Middle Range and the Harkness Range; West by the Omaka.

Estimated extent—1,800 acres.

Deposit paid—£4.

John Henry Caton .............

District of Clarence.

Boundaries—North by a line running due West from the source of the Molesworth Creek to the boundary line between the Provinces of Nelson and Marlborough; South-West by the boundary line of the Provinces of Nelson and Marlborough; East and North-East by the summit of the Barefells Range to the source of the Molesworth Creek.

Estimated extent—16,000 acres.

Deposit paid—£32.

Thomas Daken ..............

District of Port Underwood.

Boundaries—On the East by Section 1 Opihi Bay, and Separation Run; on the South by the said Section 1 and the Sea; on the South-West by Land applied for by George Baldick; on the West and North by unoccupied Crown Land.

Estimated extent—140 acres.

Deposit paid—£2.

Alfred Fell .................

District of Awatere.

Boundaries—South-West by Section 17; North-West by Sections 16 and 15; North-East by Section 1, of Block 5, District of Awatere; South-East by Grassmere.

Estimated extent—550 acres.
