PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor William Henry Eyes,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Marlborough, in the
Colony of New Zealand,

I WILLIAM HENRY EYES, Esquire,
do hereby, in virtue of the power
vested in me in this behalf by the “Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1856,” of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, appoint and proclaim

Joseph Ward, Esquire, M.P.C.,
of Brookby, Wairau, to be my Deputy;
and, as such, to perform and exercise all
such acts and powers, as by the said Act
I am empowered to confer upon a Deputy.

Given under my hand and the Seal
of the Province, at Blenheim,
this twenty-third day of June,
One thousand eight hundred
and sixty-eight.
