IT is hereby notified for general information that his Honor the Superintendent has appointed

G. L. Mellish, Esquire, R.M.,

to the office of Warden of the Pelorus Gold Field. The appointment to date from the 1st instant.

THE following notification in the General Government Gazette, of the 7th August, is re-published for general information.

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 7th August, 1867.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

John Evanson,
of Blenheim, to be an Inspector of Weights and Measures, and to be a person with whom shall be deposited certain copies or models of the Standard Weights and Measures of the Colony, vice Richard Doidge Nosworthy, resigned.

APPLICATION for a Pasture Licence received at this Office, in accordance with the Land Regulations of 1st July, 1856:—

Boundaries—“North and
East by Mr. A. C. Clifford’s Run; South and
West by the Woodbank and Saw-Tooth Runs.
Estimated extent—Under 5,000 acres.
Deposit paid—£15.
