APPLICATION for a Pasture License received by me in accordance with the Land Regulations of 1st July, 1856 :--
Joseph M’Artney
District—North Bank of Wairau.
Boundaries — “On the North by the Black Birch Bush, towards the South and West by Quartz Creek, as far up as the Birch Bush towards the South, and East by Bartlett’s Creek, about two miles from the junction of Quartz Creek.”
Estimated Extent—2,000 acres.
Deposit paid—£15.

Boundaries — “Towards the South by the Waihopai river to its source; from thence Northward along the range to a deep saddle at the head of a stream running into the Waihopai; thence by a line to the Southern boundary of Myers’ Run, intersecting the same boundary at about two miles from the Waihopai river.”
Estimated Extent—About 6,000 acres.
Deposit paid—£15.
