PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor WILLIAM HENRY EYES,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS by proclamation given under my hand, at Blenheim, bearing date the 2nd day of October, 1866, a meeting of the ratepayers of the District of Havelock was appointed to be held at the School-House, Havelock, for the purpose of electing one member to the Local Committee of Education, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. R. W. Watson: and whereas it has been further notified to me that another vacancy has occurred in the said Committee, by the retirement from office of Mr. Thomas Gwilliam;

Now therefore I, William Henry Eyes, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby proclaim and appoint that the Meeting appointed to be held at the time and place as aforesaid, shall be for the purpose of electing two Members to fill the vacancies in the Local School Committee.

Given under my hand, at Blenheim, this eighth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.
