Alteration of Roads.

I, THE Undersigned, JOSEPH DRESSER TETLEY, of Kekeranga, in the Province of Marlborough, sheep farmer, hereby give notice that I intend to apply to two or more Justices of the Peace, at a meeting to be held for that purpose at the Court-House, Blenheim, on WEDNESDAY, the twenty-fifth day of July next, at the hour of Eleven, a.m., for an order for stopping up and diverting the roads hereinafter referred to.

I further give notice, that a plan of the Road proposed to be diverted has been deposited with the Clerk of the Resident Magistrate, Blenheim, and that a Survey plan and Book of Reference, and Estimates, will be deposited with the Clerk of the said Court on or before the Eleventh day of June next.

Roads to be stopped up.

A certain Road in the District of Wakefield Downs, seventy-five links in width, commencing at the Southern boundary of Section No. 108, and running in a North-Westerly direction and terminating at the Awatere River in two places; situate as the Southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 105, 107, 110, 113, 114, 116, and part of 117, District of Wakefield Downs: And to substitute in the place thereof, a line of Road one hundred links wide, commencing from Starborough Station, formerly called “Kempton Station,” running in a Westerly direction through Sections Nos. 106A, 108, 109, 112, and 115, about 19,300 links, intersecting the Public Road there, and then running in a North-Westerly direction through Sections Nos. 112, 117, and 118, 11,500 links, terminating at the junction of Richmond Brook with the Awatere River.
