PROCLAMATION

By His Honor Arthur Penrose Seymour,
Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough.

ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR, hereby
give notice that from and after the Twenty-ninth day of April next the provisions of the
Debtors and Creditors Act 1862, as contained in
sections 35 and 36, with reference to the maintenance of debtors by their detaining creditors
will be enforced in this province.

Given under my hand at Picton this Twenty-first day of April, 1865.

Superintendent’s Office, Picton,
April 25, 1865.

IT is notified that the undermentioned
portion of the Waste Lands of the Crown,
within the Province of Marlborough, as herein-
after described, has been reserved, in order that
it may be laid out in Suburban Sections, and
sold as such, in accordance with the Provisions
of the Land Regulations, 1856, viz:—

All that Block of Land, bounded towards
the North partly by the surveyed sections in the District of Mahakipawa,
and partly by the waters of Queen Charlotte Sound; towards the East
by the District of Picton Suburban;
towards the South by the watershed
of the range; and towards the West
by the District of Havelock Suburban.
