IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.
MIDDLE DISTRICT.
IN the Matter of the Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862, and in the matter of the petition of Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush. On reading the petition of the said Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush, and of William Parker, a creditor of the said Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush, and upon hearing Mr. Edward Francis Ward, by Mr. Thomas Perkin, his clerk : It is ordered that ad interim sequestration of the estate and effects of the said Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush be granted to John Sharpe, Esquire, Registrar of the Supreme Court at Nelson. And it is further ordered that they, the said Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush, be protected as against all schedule creditors to whom notice of the filing of the said petition shall be given, until the fifteenth day of March next : Provided always that such protection shall be of no force or effect should any creditor of the said Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush be in a position to issue a writ of arrest against the said Nathaniel Thomas Prichard and Philip Rush in accordance with the regulations of the Writ of Arrest Act to the satisfaction of a Judge of the said Court, or Registrar of the said Court in the absence of such Judge.
Dated this fourth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
