PROCLAMATION.
By His Honour ARTHUR PENROSE SEYMOUR,
Esquire, Superintendent of
the Province of Marlborough,
in the Islands of New Zealand.
I THE SUPERINTENDENT of the
Province of Marlborough, do hereby
proclaim that at noon on MONDAY, the
Sixth day of March next, the Commissioner of Crown Lands for this Province will, at the Crown Lands Office, Picton,
in this Province, put up to Auction and offer
to Public Competition, under the provisions
of the Land Regulations now in force
within this Province, the Allotments of
Town Land, Suburban Land, and Pasture
Land that are specified in the Schedules
hereunto annexed, at the upset prices
mentioned therein.
Ten per cent. of the Purchase Money to
be deposited at the sale, and the remainder
within one month, or the deposit forfeited.
Given under my hand, at the Superintendant’s Office, Picton, this Twentysixth day of January, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-five.

PUBLICANS’ LICENSES.
Superintendent’s Office,
January 12th, 1865.
SPECIAL Meetings for granting Publicans’ and other Licenses, under the Licensing Act, 1864, will be held in the respective districts on Tuesday, the 14th February, 1865.
All applications for Licenses must be deposited with the Clerk of the Court of the District for which the Licenses may be required on or before January 31st, 1865.
EDUCATION RATE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Rate for the current year is due upon Monday, 13th February next; and all persons liable for the said rate are requested to pay the same to the Schoolmasters of the several Educational Districts upon that day.
