PROVINCE OF MARLBOROUGH.

Crown Lands Office,

Blenheim, 25th November, 1865.

Deposit paid £15.

Notice is hereby given that the Land situated at and known as part of Kawai Sound, is offered for sale on the 17th January next.

The said land comprises:

... the country line commencing at a point about one mile from the South-East extremity and upon the Eastern beach of the said Kawai Sound, and following the ridge of the range of hills which there commences, first in a Southerly and thence in a Westerly direction to the boundary line of this and the Nelson Province; thence following that line to its termination in the waters of the Pelorus Sound; thence the beach-line to the starting point;

Also the three small islands situate and unnamed in the said Kawai Sound.

Estimated extent – About 4000 acres.

In accordance with the Land Regulations of 1st July, 1856, notice is hereby given of the sale of the undermentioned Land, situate on runs licensed under the said Regulations:

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor William Henry Eyes, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Colony of New Zealand.

THE Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, do hereby, in accordance with powers vested in me in that behalf by the sixteenth clause of the Constitution Act, declare that the Provincial Council of this Province stands prorogued.

Given under my hand and Seal this twenty-eighth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
