PROVINCE OF MARLBOROUGH.

Crown Lands Office,
Picton, 8th November, 1864.

APPLICATION for a Depasturage License, in accordance with the Land Regulations of 1st July, 1856, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, on the 7th day of November instant.

Thomas Carter.

District—Clarence.
Boundaries—Northward and Westward by the crest of the range which extends between the head of the Awatere river, the Guide, and the Acheron on one side, and the Clarence river on the other; Eastward by the Westward boundary of Mr. Atkinson’s run; Southward by the Clarence river and the run held by Mr. Thomas Carter under the name of “North Clarence Run.”
Estimated Extent — Under 20,000 acres.
Deposit Paid — £30.

WHEREAS by the “Petty Sessions Act, 1858,” it was enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor
