PROCLAMATION.

Pieton, September 8, 1864.

Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough.
IN pursuance of the power vested in me as Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, to declare any House, Building, Enclosure or Place, to be a Public Gaol within such Province, I do hereby proclaim and declare that Cell No. 2, in the Building lately erected at Havelock in the said Province of Marlborough and known as a Lock-up, shall be a Public Gaol.
Given under my hand this Eighth day of September, 1864.
