APPLICATION for a DEPASTURING LICENSE, in accordance with the Land Regulations of 1st July, 1856, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, this 27th day of November, 1863.

District—Clarence.
Boundaries—North by the summit of the Inland Kaikoura Range; East, by the eastern branch of the River De?; South, by the back or north boundary of the run now leased in the name of George Williams; West, by the western branch of the Elliott, to its source.
Estimated extent—under 20,000 acres; deposit paid, £40.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
Rock off Long Look-out Point, on the Northern side of Banks’s Peninsula, Middle Island, New Zealand.
THE Barque “CATHERINE,” from Hobart Town, when about three quarters of a mile from the Long Look-out, struck on a sunken reef, injuring the gudgeons of her rudder, so as to disable her. She was towed into the port of Lyttelton by the “Gazelle.”
