APPLICATION for a DEPASTURING LICENCE, in accordance with the Land Regulations of 1st July, 1856, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, on the 15th day of May, 1863:—
James Balfour Wemyss.
District—Wairau Valley; North Bank of Waihopai River.
Boundaries—South and south-east, the River Waihopai to its source; North-east, the line forming the Southern boundary of Mr. Myers' Upper Run; West, the summit of Snowy Range, from the saddle of the Waihopai to the point where Mr. Myers’ southern boundary meets the same range.
Estimated extent — Under 10,000 acres.
Deposit paid, £15.

John Clervaux Chaytor and Edward Chaytor—District, Clarence.
Joseph Ward—District, Clarence.
Boundaries not to be definitively settled until Plans of the Runs have been sent in as required by the Regulations.
All Reserves and Freehold Land to be shown on the Plans.
