NOTICE.
WHEREAS one HIMIONA TE WETANUI, an aboriginal native, deceased, formerly resident at Queen Charlotte Sound, in the Province of Marlborough; did on or about the 10th day of September, 1857, pay to the Commissioner of Crown Lands of the Province of Nelson, the sum of forty pounds (£40), whereby he the said HIMIONA TE WETANUI, became entitled to receive EIGHTY (80) ACRES of Crown Lands, situate at, or adjacent to Kaireperepe in the district of Queen Charlotte Sound in the Province of Marlborough. And whereas the said land was not surveyed or allotted during the lifetime of the said HIMIONA TE WETANUI. I hereby give notice to the heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns (if any), of the said HIMIONA TE WETANUI, that they must lodge the PARTICULARS of their CLAIMS to the said LAND in writing with me at my office at Collingwood, and with the Commissioner of Crown Lands at Picton, within three months from the date hereof; with a view that the same may be submitted to his Excellency the Governor, for his decision thereon.
