Picton, September 12th, 1862.

In accordance with the provisions of the
Picton Improvement Act, a Meeting
of the Board of Works, elected to carry
out the said Act, is appointed to take place
at the GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, Picton,
on MONDAY EVENING, the 22nd inst.,
at 7 o’clock.

MR. JOHN OCTAVIUS WESTERN
has been duly elected a Member of the
Education Board for the District of Picton.

It is notified that the undermentioned
portion of the Waste Lands of the
Crown, within the Province of Marlborough,
as hereinafter described, has been reserved
for public purposes:—
Part of Section No. 134, Omaka, containing by admeasurement one hundred
and thirty acres.
