I, Stephen Carkeek, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned, and that the sum of £5604 16s. 3d. Sterling, paid by me, as above stated, is the whole amount so received by me from the first to the thirty-first day of March, 1862, both days inclusive, and I do make this declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
