I, Stephen Carkeek, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing
is a true and faithful statement of my account as Collector of Customs for the period
herein mentioned, and that the sum of £3032 7s. 5d., sterling, paid by me as above,
is the whole amount so received by me from the first to the thirty-first day of
Dec., 1861, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration, conscientiously
believing the same to be true.
