PROCLAMATION.

By WILLIAM DOUGLAS HALL BAILLIE, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.

WILLIAM DOUGLAS HALL BAILLIE, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me on this behalf, do hereby fix and proclaim that the Fourth Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Marlborough shall be held within the Provincial Council Hall, at Picton, and shall commence upon TUESDAY, the Fifteenth day of October, 1861, at twelve o’clock, noon.

Given under my hand and seal, at the Superintendent’s Office, Marlborough, this 12th day of October, 1861.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the PLANS for the NEXT LAND SALE must be delivered at this Office on or before MONDAY, the 4th day of November next.

NOTICE is hereby given that DECISIONS in favour of the following Applicants for Licences to Depasture Stock have been given, in accordance with the Provisions of the Land Regulations, July 1st, 1856 —

Alexander Kerr, Nelson
F. K. Allen, Forsyth Island
Robert Woodgate, Queen Charlotte’s Sound

Boundaries not to be definitely settled until Plans of the Runs have been sent in as required by the Regulations.

All Reserves and Freehold Land to be shown on the Plans.

Superintendent’s Office,
Picton, October 16, 1861.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until FRIDAY, November 1, for ERECTING a BRIDGE over the Lock-up Creek, Blenheim; also, the erection of a WHARF at the foot of High-street, Blenheim.

Plans and Specifications may be seen at this Office, and at Mr. George Henderson’s, Blenheim.
