PROCLAMATION.

By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

I JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay aforesaid, do hereby proclaim and notify that the land described in the annexed Schedule is withdrawn from sale, in pursuance of "The Hawke's Bay Waste Land Regulations Amendment Act, 1874," from the day of the date hereof.

Dated this 13th day of May, in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land situate on the reclaimed ground at Gough Island, being section No. 589, in the Town of Napier, containing by admeasurement one rood, more or less, bounded on the North by section No. 588, 228 links; on the East by the Railway Station Reserve, 110 links; on the West by the West Quay, 110 links; and on the South by Section No. 590, 228 links, as shown on the Government map of the reclaimed land.

NOTICE.

THE undermentioned Road Boards, in Road Districts not having complied with the regulations under which the General Government Grant is given, will forfeit the sum apportioned to them unless the necessary steps to enable the grant to be paid are taken prior to the 23rd of June next. Full information can be obtained on application to the Provincial Treasurer.
