PROCLAMATION.

By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of
Hawke's Bay, in the Colony of
New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Hawke's Bay, Session 12, No. 1, it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may from time to time, by Proclamation, appoint Pounds and Poundkeepers at such places as he may think fit, and at any time to annul such appointment and make others.

Now, therefore, I, John Davies Ormond, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby appoint Mrs. Miles Hudson Poundkeeper of the Public Pound, situate at her stockyard, Wallingford.

Given under my hand and seal of the Province of Hawke's Bay, this 26th day of March, 1874.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor John Davies Ormond,
Superintendent of the Province of
Hawke's Bay.

WHEREAS by the eleventh section of "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873," it is enacted that no native game shall be hunted, shot, taken, or killed in any Province, except during such months as the Superintendent of such Province shall, by proclamation, appoint, not exceeding four calendar months.

Now therefore, I, the said John Davies Ormond, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, acting under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the months of May, June, and July next shall be the months within which native game may be hunted, shot, taken, or killed within the Province of Hawke's Bay.

PROCLAMATION:

By His Honor John Davies Ormond,
Superintendent of the Province of
Hawkes Bay.

WHEREAS by the eighth section of the "Protection of Animals Act, 1873," it is enacted that the Superintendent of any Province may, by proclamation, from time to time proclaim that any animal or bird, in addition to those mentioned in the several schedules to the said Act, shall come within the operation of the said Act.

Now, therefore, I, John Davies Ormond, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, acting under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the following imported birds, viz., rooks, blackbirds, thrushes, starlings, yellow hammers, hedge sparrows, finches, linnets, red poles, skylarks, shall come within the operation of the said "Protection of Animals Act, 1873."

Dated this 14th day of April, 1874.
