PROCLAMATION.

By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay aforesaid, do hereby, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf, proclaim and notify that the land described in the annexed Schedule, being not more than one-thirtieth part of the Public Lands in the district in which the same are situated, are from the date hereof reserved from public sale for general educational purposes.

Dated this 25th day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

TOWN OF NAPIER.

Section numbered 66, Town of Napier, containing by admeasurement 39 perches, more or less; bounded towards the south by Faraday-street, 150 links; towards the east by section No. 65, 163 links; towards the west by section No. 37, 150 links; and towards the north by section No. 67, 163 links.

Section at corner of Hyderabad-road and Main-street, Town of Napier, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less; bounded towards the north-east by section No. 7, 160 links; towards the south-east by Main-street, 250 links; towards the south-west by Hyderabad-road, 100 links; and towards the north-west by section No. 6, 250 links.

Section bounded by Tennyson, Emerson, and Hastings-street, Town of Napier, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 20 perches, more or less; bounded towards the north-east by Hastings-street, 250 links; towards the south-east by Emerson-street, 250 links; towards the south-west by section No. 171, 250 links; and towards the north-west by Tennyson-street, 250 links.
