All public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those persons to whom they relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.
I, JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby proclaim that a Sale of Crown Lands will take place at the Crown Lands Office, Napier, on THURSDAY, the 25th day of Sept., 1873, at noon precisely, when the Allotments of Land specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed (except such as may be reserved under the provision herein-after mentioned), and which land has been duly certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands as being unavailable for agricultural purposes, will be put up to Public Auction at the upset price of five shillings an acre, in accordance with the Land Regulations of 4th March, 1853, and the additional regulations for the amendment and extension of the said regulations, recommended by the Superintendent and the Council of the Province of Wellington, Session 2, to the Governor.
If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient to reserve from sale any of the sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so.
