All public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those persons to whom they relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

PROCLAMATION.

By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay, Session 12, No. 1, it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may, from time to time, by proclamation, appoint public Pounds and Poundkeepers at such places as he may think fit, and at any time to annul such appointments and make others.

Now, therefore, I, John Davies Ormond, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby annul the appointment of ROBERT WILKIN as Poundkeeper of the public Pound at Peka Peka, and do hereby appoint JOSEPH ANNABELL Poundkeeper of the said public Pound situate at Peka Peka.

Dated this 22nd day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.
