JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Super-
intendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby notify that the names of the Board of Wardens and Chairman elected under the provisions of the “District Highways’ Act, 1850,” of the Meanee District, are as under:—

Chairman—Henry Stokes Tiffen.

Wardens—Henry Stokes Tiffen, Hector Peacock, Henry Alley, Edward Davis, and Richard Maney.

PROCLAMATION.

By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, Session 12, No. 1, it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may, from time to time, by proclamation, appoint Pounds and Poundkeepers, at such places as he may think fit, and at any time to annul such appointments and make others.

Now, therefore, I, JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby annul the appointment of Abraham Skillicorn as Poundkeeper for Maraekakaho, and do hereby proclaim that the Stockyard, erected at Maraekakaho Accommodation House, and...

In Proclamation dated 1st March, 1871, Pound and Poundkeeper, Puketapu District, for “Tutaekuri” read “Mangaone.”
