All public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereunto
annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those persons to whom they
relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the Province
of Hawke's Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay,
intituled "The Hawke's Bay Sheep Act, 1870," it is provided that
the Superintendent may from time to time by Proclamation in the
Hawke's Bay Gazette appoint an Inspector or Inspectors of Sheep for the
purposes of this Act as he may think fit, and may at any time annul
such appointments and make others, and may proclaim a principal office
in Napier for such Inspector or Inspectors.
Now, therefore, I, JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superintendent of the
Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby proclaim that I have appointed
GAVIN PEACOCK, Esq., and
ALFRED HENRY PRICE, Esq.,
Inspectors of Sheep for the said Province of Hawke's Bay; and do also
proclaim that the room at present occupied by Mr. G. Peacock, in the
Government Buildings, Napier, shall be the principal office in Napier of
the Inspectors of Sheep for Hawke's Bay.
Given under my hand and seal of the Province of Hawke's Bay,
this 22nd day of November, 1870.
