APPLICATIONS will be received at the Superintendent’s Office to the 1st of November, for parties willing to undertake the duties of Schoolmaster at Puketapu.

There is a four-roomed house for the Schoolmaster, with School-house detached, and 1¼ acres of fenced land.

Parties applying, must send certificates as to fitness.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Circuit Sittings of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Civil and Criminal business, will be held at the Provincial Council Chambers, Napier, on TUESDAY, the 8th day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons under recognizance as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
