PROCLAMATION.

By DONALD McLEAN, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The Provincial Reserved Bill Act, 1858," it is provided that no Bill reserved sure shall have any force within the Province until the Superintendent shall signify as therein specified, that it has been laid before the Governor, and that His Excellency has assented to the same: And whereas certain Acts intituled

"The Appropriation Act," Session 12, No. 6,
"Credit Act," Session 12, No. 8,

were passed by the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay during last session, but reserved by me for the signification of the Governor's pleasure,

Now, therefore, I, Donald McLean, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby proclaim and notify that the abovementioned Acts have been duly laid before His Excellency the Governor, and, having received his assent, are, under the provisions of the Act of the General Assembly before referred to, in force within the Province of Hawke's Bay from the date of this proclamation.

Dated this thirty-first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, the eighth day of January, 1868.

Present:
THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the "Marine Act, 1867," it is enacted that the Governor may, by Order in Council, from time to time delegate all or any of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act, unto any person or persons, for any period, and subject to any regulations, restrictions, or stipulations which may be specified in such Order, and
