NOTICE is hereby given that the next
Circuit Sittings to be holden at Napier,
will be adjourned from Monday, the 9th, to
THURSDAY, the 12th inst.
It will not be necessary for jurors and wit-
nesses to attend before the 12th.

NOTICE is hereby given that at the
next sittings of the Supreme Court,
under the above Acts, the abovenamed
debtor will apply for final discharge.

PROCLAMATION.
By DONALD McLEAN, Esquire, Superin-
tendent of the Province of Hawke's
Bay, in the Islands of New Zea-
land.
WHEREAS, by an Act of the Provin-
cial Council of Hawke's Bay,
Session 13, No. 6, intituled the "Educa-
tional Rates Act 1868," it is enacted that
certain rates shall be collected for purposes
of Education, and that the Superintendent
shall appoint proper persons to collect such
rates, and that the rate shall become pay-
able within one month after the Governor's
assent to this Act shall have been published
in the Provincial Government Gazette, and
that the Superintendent shall, in each year,
by proclamation announce the day on which
the rate is payable, and the name of the
collector appointed for its collection. Now,
therefore, I, DONALD McLEAN, Superinten-
dent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do
hereby proclaim and notify that I have ap-
pointed THOMAS SOULLY as collector of
the said rate; and further, I announce that
the 20th day of SEPTEMBER last past was
the day on which the said rate was and
became payable.
Dated this fifth day of November, in the
year of our Lord One thousand
eight hundred and sixty-eight.
