PROCLAMATION.

By Joseph Rhodes, Esq., Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay, Session 12, No. 1, it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may from time to time, by proclamation, appoint public Pounds at such places as he may think fit.

Now, therefore, I, Joseph Rhodes, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby give notice that the public Pound of Napier will be REMOVED on SATURDAY, 17th inst., at noon, from Wellesley Road to Beach Road, and I do appoint all that yard recently erected in Beach Road to be henceforth used as a public Pound.

Given under my hand and seal of the Province of Hawke's Bay this 10th day of October, 1868.

IT IS HEREBY NOTIFIED for general information that

Mr. W. Ingram

has been appointed Poundkeeper at Hampden.
